Shane Filan: You And Me Tour Live in Manila Concert

Wow! I cannot believe it took me months before I could actually post this.
I know it's been looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong overdue but I still cannot go over the fact that I had actually attended Shane Filan's concert here in the Philippines. A first for me! *cheers* Yahoo!!!!

So there, after a couple of weeks, days, hours and minutes of agony I finally have in my hand my VIP ticket. Yes! Can you believe it? I can't believe it! I really thought I'd be letting this moment pass by again.
Waiting in line to get inside the venue! ^___^
Fast-forward***
So after attending his meet-and-greet album signing at Megamall, (I got my album signed, too!) I waited patiently for the concert day!
My very shameless selfie after the album signing!
And since it was a work-day, I had to leave the office a bit earlier than the usual just to come on-time for the concert. My friends and I were so excited even though the weather is not really that good at the time. It was raining pretty hard, and we were drenched the moment we arrived at the venue.

It took us hours before we got inside. And once we've been settled in our seats, I couldn't contain my excitement!! I'm feeling all the adrenaline rush. I'm way beyond ecstatic!

For the front act, Shane had Klarisse de Guzman from The Voice Philippines, taking the stage to sing some songs... (sorry, I wasn't paying attention that much to her). Then suddenly, I am on my feet running to the front stage as Shane and his band started the set with the song "When I met You" then followed it up with the Westlife's song "Uptown Girl", "What Makes A Man" (my ultimate favorite song it sometimes makes me feel like crying) and "My Love".
The aura inside the World Trade Center is so laidback it feels like we were just chillin'.  He then sang his songs from his album, "Once" which reminds us all that we only live once (YOLO) and to give importance to each and everything.  And then I had goosebumps when he sang the song "Swear It All Over Again". Geez, that was fifteen years ago! And I was just six years old back then but I fell in love with that song ever since the day I heard it over the radio. He then sang the song "Amazed" which he said was his and his wife's favorite :). For the song "Flying without wings", Klarisse joined him on-stage for a duet.

Shane gave me the chills when he sang the song "You Raise Me Up". It was a very memorable song and it transports me back to the time when Westlife was still... Well, Westlife will always and forever be living in our hearts despite the fact that they were disbanded.

PS. I will update photos once I got hold of the memory card where I stored the photos. :)
